Quant Developer

For our client, a global banking company in Zurich we are looking for a skilled

Quant Developer

for a 12-month contract.

Key responsibilities:

- acting as a Quant Developer/Requirement Engineer
- Market Data Analysis
- programming in C# for the production system
- investigating potential problems within data
- stakeholder management

Hard skills:

- SCIENTIFIC OR TECHNICAL EDUCATION FROM GOOD UNIVERSITY
- Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding.
- Experience in analysing financial instrument data across asset classes
- Lead requirements elicitation workshops
- Not only gathering requirements, also able to propose requirements and validate them with stakeholders
- Hands-on quant and development previous experience
- Python, C#
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry, Banking would be a plus
- Data Quality & Backtesting
- Risk Management & Portfolio Optimization
- PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO CANDIDATES COMING FROM TOP TIER UNIVERSITY, REGARDLESS OF PREVIOUS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE.
