Project Description:
QE Testing for multiple LTE related projects. Reviewing requirements and writing, updating test cases, troubleshooting defects and analysing test results. Executing test cases, logging defects, triaging defects and testing multiple mobile devices. Tracing packets, troubleshooting in complex telephony/network/VoIP environment. Reporting status to Test lead and Test Mgr. Acting as sub-lead for specific functional areas of a project or multiple concurrent projects.

Job Description:
Candidate will participate in test planning and in testing activities on multiple devices for multiple projects.
Testing includes; reviewing requirements, analysing requirements, determining testing needs, writing and reviewing test cases, running test cases, troubleshooting, packet sniffing, logging and regressing defects and analysing test results.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have extensive telephony/VoIP network lab experience including VoIP and IP packet tracing experience. This is a must for this position. Tester will be working in lab environment where all tests will involve VoIP troubleshooting and packet tracing.
Candidate must be able to troubleshoot issues and follow directions. Candidate must have understanding of structured SDLC environment. Critical, but somewhat less critical than the technical skills. Ideally, they would have experience with reviewing requirements, writing structured test cases in a test tracking system, writing defects, etc. If this understanding is a little weak, we might be willing to train if necessary, but would rather have someone with the experience already.
Candidate must be able to manipulate hand-held device for 8+ hours per day. For eg Smartphone, iPhones, tablets, etc.
