Quality Systems Specialist Job

QUALITY SYSTEMS SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PITTSBURGH, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience with global material master data procedures
- SAP user experience in a logistical module (eg MM, SD)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for the correct creation and maintenance of material master data, serving as a system material master expert in evaluating appropriateness of changes.
- Perform checks and validation on material data creation and extensions to ensure correct settings from Master Data Governance, business process and ICS perspective
- Review, revise and update Master Data procedures (SOP, Master Data work instructions and ICS Controls) to reflect internal process and necessary controls
- Provide regular checks on data content and structure following MD governance and business process, using appropriate reporting/analysis tools (BW and Terra Data)
- Ensure correct material master data is maintained in PMD, PRD and P2R providing timely customer support
- Conduct data accuracy audits for Material Master Data
- Document and communicate Master Data maintenance processes
- Provides technical expertise to product supply so creation of new master data is minimized.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology and five (5) or more years of experience or seven to ten (7-10) years of application business experience
- Requires a broad understanding of global material master data procedures
- Strong data handling skills in software applications ie spreadsheets, databases, data queries, data comparisons and relational databases
- Background in data maintenance in SAP, knowledge of data objects and organizational models
- Knowledge of Supply Chain, product data structures (eg bills of materials) and Back Office processes in a healthcare business
