Experienced in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and Quality Assurance?

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with one ofEurope's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in their Quality Assurance department. My client is seeking an ambitious, driven pharmaceutical professional to join their organisation as a Quality Systems Officer.

The manufacturing function, based in North West England nearManchester, supplies in excess of one hundred different product types to the European market, including solid, semi solid, steriles, powders and liquid dosage forms.

The main purpose of the Quality System Officer is to:

-Develop and maintain the site quality system (including Workbench Professional Software for deviations and standards/compliance management).
-Develop and maintain the site change management system.
-Update site systems with current knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

To be eligible to apply for this position you must meet the following criteria:

-Degree or equivalent in a science based subject.
-Minimum 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including Quality Assurance experience.
-Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
-Previous management experience - including coaching and mentoring staff in cGMP and quality systems.

This is a permanent position with a negotiable salary in the region of £26 000 - £30 000, plus benefits.
