Quality Inspector

Yoh has an immediate three (3) month contract opportunity for a MECHANICAL QUALITY INSPECTOR to join our client in Wichita, KS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Inspects company-produced aircraft products and associated documentation.
- Performs laboratory procedures as required.
- Records data, prepares formal reports.
- Completes FAA and customer-required certification documents.
- Comprehend traceability requirements and complete traceability forms.
- Identify and recognize process errors and initiate resolution using the appropriate quality forms.
- The care and cleaning of tools and gauges and verifying calibration status.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- General knowledge of ANSI Y14.5M-1994.
- Knowledgeable in team concepts.
- Familiar with basic quality terms and concepts such as SPC and Six Sigma
- Experience with inspection planning, tools and processes.
- Identify critical, major, minor characteristics from customer tools, blueprints and other customer supplied data.
- Knowledgeable in mathematical operations and how to perform measurement conversions; being able to solve for x, add and subtract degrees, minutes and seconds.
- Familiar with GD&T, and recognition of basic NTD terminology.
- Capable to determine sample size for lots.
- Capable of identify the difference between accuracy and precision, types of measurement and measurement terminology.
- Able to perform product audits.
