Quality Engineer

QUALITY ENGINEER - AUTOMOTIVE - BUCKINGHAMSHIRE - CONTRACT - 3 YEARS - £30-33 per hour

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

-5+ years experience within Quality automotive background working specifically with the customer
-Customer Liason experience
-Internal Auditing knowedge and experience(System/Process/Product)

SCOPE:

The Quality Engineers (NPI) will be co-responsible for all aspects of the quality Planning and development for their assigned customers, projects or products.

RESPONSIBILITY:

The Quality Engineer is co-responsible for ensuring that all elements of NQP, Beon or other customer systems are completed within the time frame. The work to be completed and the timing will be defined within the quality system procedures and processes.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Quality engineers work along side the project manager and within the project team, they ensure the aspects of quality are addressed for new projects, they ensure all documentation as defined within the company process and procedures is completed on time, before handing it over the SQAE. The work with supplier on APQP of purchase parts for their new projects and supplier part quality. They check the quality of out going parts at pre-production stages and hand over to the production team.
