Supplier Quality Engineer

I am recruiting for a Supplier Quality Engineer on a 12 month contract. My client has a worldwide presence in the industry of Aerospace.

JOB ROLE:
Ensure fully traceable and AS9102 compliant material is supplied to the project team enabling the completion of FAI build in new production facilities. Take the lead in resolving any issue arising by closely working the Quality, Procurement and Project Team.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Ensure that all CoC and supporting documents are in place for materials supplied to new production facilities.
2. Resolve any Quality issues arising to ensure smooth material flow into the receiving sites in Germany and India and to enable FAI build
Work closely with the existing QA Department to ensure all company Quality standards are adhered to 3. Work closely with the Procurement team and Suppliers to resolve Quality issues impacting on the transfer project
4. Act as an interface between the Project Team, QA and the Supply chain
5. Utilise the Design team in support of any Drawing Changes required
