Quality Engineer to be based inNorth West

Quality Engineer required within the automotive industry.

The successful candidate will be part of a global organisation that is located in 28 countries worldwide. You will be based in the North East of England working for an automotive company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Driver of APQP process with suppliers
- Produce reports from statistical analysis of results from capabilities studies
- Preparation of PPAP documentation
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques
- Dealing with internal and external suppliers with quality concerns
- Produce KPI's and attend daily management meetings,
- Raise reject notes and concessions using the reporting system
- Supplier development & process audits regular basis
- Utilization of analytical tools such 8D, CMM metrology, cause & effect, 5 why, six sigma.
- Carrying out internal Quality Systems audits to TS16949 standard
- Visiting customers to address any concerns raised, planning and implementing corrective action

Skills required for this role will include the following:

- Must be conversant with TS16949. ISO9001:2008
- Automotive Engineering background

CMM and Injection Moulding Plastic is essential however must from an Automotive background
Supplier experience is also essential for this role.
