Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer needed in Waukegan IL to lead product development for a leader in the healthcare products / medical device manufacturing industry. This is a contract opportunity expected to last 8 months, could be longer based on performance, possible temp to perm. You will focus on the development of new or enhanced products or processes including quality and validation. Currently we are only looking for local candidates. Great Contractor Benefits!

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform detailed analyses and tests required for research, development or quality control of processes and products
- Write experimental reports, summaries and protocols
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments

REQUIREMENTS

- AA degree, prefer BS
- 5+ years experience from the medical device or biopharmaceutical industry focused on research and development, quality or validation of products
- Knowledge and maintenance of pertinent standards including but not limited to: 21 CFR
- Firm understanding of GMP and quality system requirements
