Quality Engineer

A global biotechnology tools company is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to design, evaluate, implement and maintain quality assurance programs and systems for product and process development, manufacturing and testing to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements at their facility in the Benicia, CA, area. This is a 10 month CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates only.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop methods and protocols to ensure that appropriate quality assays or tests are being conducted
- Work with quality and manufacturing to create and modify methods and procedures to ensure that appropriate processes and products are developed, tests are conducted and products, materials, and manufacturing equipment meet required standards
- Participate on new product and process design, development and implementation teams

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Engineering or related discipline
- Familiarity of cGMPs and regulations applicable to the FDA
- TrackWise (Quality Management System Software) experience preferred
