Quality Control Analyst Job

QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST NEEDED for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ALLSTON, MA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Performs operations necessary for quality testing and plays a role in implementing new technology within quality control.
- Completes routine testing of raw materials, in-process and final products in accordance with SOPs for product release and validation.
- Aids in the development of test methods.
- Conducts data review and preliminary evaluation of results.
- Solves problems using limited predetermined options such as repeating the assay when parameters are not met to determine the cause, etc

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Performing UV-Vis spectrophotometer assays for in-process and final product samples
- Performing HPLC methods for final bulk material/finished goods
- Performing maintenance on complex laboratory equipment including HPLC and GC
- Investigating and troubleshooting of Quality Control methods
- Prepares investigations related to OOS/OOT results
- Review of QC Data for compliance to procedures and specifications

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences discipline and four (4) years experience in CGMP lab

environment or Master's Degree in Life Sciences discipline and two (2) years experience in CGMP lab
Environment
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Word and Excel and lab based data management

systems
- Scientific technical writing ability
- HPLC (high pressure liquid chromatography) experience.
