Quality Assurance Tester

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a QA TESTER to join our client in Austin, TX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The long term project goals are to provide testing certification that produces zero defects and ensure that each investment accelerates the move towards an advanced all-IP broadband, all-wireless, and all-cloud infrastructure that delivers on the full promise of game-changing technologies that provides an industry leading customer experience, and maintains focus on a capital-efficient network
- The overall scope of the project is to deliver Certified Testing at the Enterprise Dashboard level for any applications that will be virtualized for Network Services. Virtualized Testing Certification for all applications within the IMS Core Services which is specific to network services across multiple lines of business. This includes all testing/certifying any integration with USP, which stands for simply, U.S. Platform Services.

Job Qualifications:
- IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) network elements and solutions especially those involving E///elements - HSS-FE, HSS-BE, I/S CSCF, SBG, SCC-AS, MM, MRS
- SIP Signaling/call flows
- Diameter Protocol
- Understanding of Linux server OS including network configuration (interface bonding and static route definition, IPv4, IPv6)
- Server Virtualization Solutions (KVM, Orchestration) Design and Testing
- Cloud Architecture Design and Testing
- Experience in test planning and test execution: acceptance, integration, functional, service, performance.
- Proven troubleshooting skills utilizing protocol analysis applications such as Tektronix IRIS and Wireshark.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to a wide range of audiences both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks/schedules simultaneously.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
