Yoh has a contract opportunity for a QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER to join our client, SAP America located in NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs the planning, development, and execution of product testing to verify the stability and use-ability of the product.
- Activities include the design and creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and corresponding test procedures.
- Performs research and product analysis to verify that features and functionality are performing according to requirements and customer expectations.
- Works with Service Engineers, Technical Writers, Customer Support, and Global Service Owners, to resolve product functionality issues.
- Capable of working productively with limited supervision.
- Formulates test strategy and methodologies. Reviews, researches, and analyzes product requirements to extract the functional test requirements for each release. Additionally, has solid understanding of all test tools, scripts, and test drivers, as well as operating systems supported by the product. Correlates all data to develop an effective and re-useable testing approach that supports both current and future product development cycles.
- Determines testable aspects and test inputs/outputs using design specifications, risk assessments, past error trends, and other resources. Generates time estimates for specific tasks. Designs test cases and procedures to exercise new or modified product functionality.
- Constructs test cases, test procedures, and automated and/or manual scripts, as required to support repeatable test execution per SAP testing processes and procedures. May design and code test harnesses to support test automation.
- Executes test cases and procedures according to plan. Independently evaluates product use-ability and outputs, product interface interaction, and product documentation from the perspective of the customer. Analyzes the product's behavior and output using product and industry knowledge, to determine accuracy and correctness of results. Identifies errors or concerns, and the steps required to recreate the error. Documents and communicates all in a timely manner.
- Provides technical support to Customer Support and Service Owners , to research and resolve customer questions or concerns, or to provide a work-around if possible when product errors are reported.
- Actively participates in the review of Product Requirements, Engineering Design Specifications, Implementation Plans, and Test Plans and Detailed Test Designs according to SAP's quality and development processes. Identifies and communicates crucial issues in a timely manner. Assists in the refinement or clarification of proposed plan changes.
- Continually enhances expertise to remain current with evolving subject matter domains (product features and functionality, market and industry demands) and information technology systems (testing methodologies, operating systems, testing tools, and programming languages). Capable of mentoring, assists with the training of new employees.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Complete understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies is required, including knowledge of programming and systems analysis procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are critical to support the translation of business level requirements (via domain expertise) into functional test requirements (data representations).
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required to support the capture and transfer of information with others during in the product development process and for subsequent support activities involving other SAP departments.
- Sound working knowledge of current Windows and MAC operating systems.
- Knowledge of iOS and Android systems is helpful.
- Must have experience working with Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, and VBScript.
