QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Brea, CA.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Complaint handling experience
- Medical Equipment troubleshooting
- Equipment validation

What You'll Be Doing:
- Review and assign incoming Complaints.
- Perform complaint investigations into alleged product non-conformances
- Operate Clinical Chemistry analyzers to determine product functionality.
- Contact customers in the field to obtain all necessary information to investigate fully.
- Control distribution of product from regulatory perspective through stop ship processes.
- Perform Risk Assessments for determining CAPA eligibility.
- Escalation product issues to senior management.
- Conduct reviews of complaint trending to determine CAPA eligibility.
- Represent QA on development, current business or product improvement projects.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Adheres to technical standards.
- Monitors policy procedures and standards.
- Recommends changes and process improvements.
- Adheres to policies and procedures.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Degree level in a Science or Engineering related discipline
- Good Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good attention to detail

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Complaint handling experience in the Medical Device/IVD industry
- Medical Laboratory experience
