QUALITY ASSURANCE - (SUPPLY CHAIN)

A Quality Assurance Services Engineer with Supply chain experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Bristol

This is a 6 month contract working for a Leading Defence company.

OVERVIEW OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE CONTRACT ROLE

You will work within the naval Combat Systems Project delivery team, to provide confidence to all project stakeholders that products and services from sub-contractors and suppliers will be delivered compliant and to plan: through the assessment of risk, appropriate quality planning, supplier engagement activities, management of supplier issues, management reporting and implementation of good supply-chain Quality Assurance practices (such as routine monitoring and performance measurement and the identification of opportunity for improvement). Some travel within the UK will be expected as part of this role.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE QUALITY ASSURANCE

- Knowledge of the implementation of ISO9001:2008, ideally supplimented by TickIT/TickITplus experience.
- A working knowledge of Defence Standards and AQAP 2000 Series standards.
- Be pro-active in identifying supplier Quality issues,
- Provide professional Quality Assurance and Quality Control advice and guidance

The role is based in Bristol - commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Cirencester, Swindon, Devizes, Trowbridge, Bath, Taunton, Bridgwater, Weston-Super-Mare, Newport and Cardiff
