QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST - PMO

We are seeking to recruit a PMO Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong background in the financial services.

Role responsibilities:

- Review and enhance project assurance and governance processes and actively continue to refine and improve these as appropriate.
- Actively work with staff across key business units to develop project delivery best practice and ensure that this is incorporated consistently into the department's activities.
- Own and ensure compliance to project governance standards and processes.
- Provide delivery assurance advice and support to Programme/Project Managers and key project stakeholders for strategic/high priority projects.
- Ensure project/solution acceptance activities are effectively managed through the full delivery life cycle including confirming key deliverables and tolerances for all quality gates, advising projects on appropriate use of quality gates and carrying out quality gate reviews.
- Actively ensure that delivery process knowledge is up to date to ensure the best training possible is provided to those involved

Skills and experience:

- Proven track record of working in a PMO environment
- Strong overall PMO quality audit techniques and associated methods and tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project assurance and project governance frameworks
- Expertise in risk management techniques
- Broad business knowledge including commercial, financial, and technical awareness
- Excellent overall communication skills - credible at all levels with strong relationship and influencing skills
