Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews; analyzes data and documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, and user acceptance tests
- Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures
- Execute test scripts
- Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans
- Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
- Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
- Validate product fixes
- Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process

SKILLS:

May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
