Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Analyst Job

QA/QC ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Davis, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Analyze data and input results in a LIMS system.
- Perform routine assays to characterize the chemical nature (HPLC-MS) of Agricultural products.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- We are seeking to fill a temporary position within our Chemistry group.

- Working with general lab equipment

- Stirrers
- Vortex mixers
- Flexible and quick to learn new concepts
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Effectively organize, prioritize and follow-up on work assignments

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S. in Chemistry or related field
- Three to five (3-5) years of analytical chemistry experience required
- Experience with routine HPLC chemical assays is required.
- Experience with AB Sciex instruments is highly desirable.
- Applicants with Quality Control experience will be given special preference.
