Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer III

Yoh has an excellent contract opportunity for a QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) ENGINEER III to join our client in Melbourne, FL.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures.
- Responsible for objectively evaluating processes, products, and services against the applicable process descriptions, standards, and procedures.
- Identifies noncompliance issues, recommends corrective actions, and provides feedback on the results of quality assurance activities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Required: Bachelors (or equivalent)
- Six (6) plus years with BS/BA (Bachelors) required.
- Minimum years of experience
- SW QA Engineer - six (6) years of experience
- Must have knowledge/experience in software quality methodologies, processes and standards.
- Must have familiarity with software engineering practices such as requirements development, software design, software implementation and software testing.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

- Master's Degree is a plus
- An understanding and application of the CMMI or Development model is a plus.
- Software process improvement experience is a plus
