QUALITY ASSURANCE AND INSPECTION PREPARATION CONSULTANT/AUDITOR

My client, a south West Local Authority are urgently looking for some interim support in the form of a Quality Assurance and Inspection Preparation Consultant/Auditor

To Review and identify performance management, service development requirements and operational delivery requirements and support organisational review to ensure fit with local community need, multi agency expectations and associated inspection requirements.

You'll be expected to be able to develop audit and quality assurance functions across all children's services from early help', to statutory intervention through to  people leaving the care of the local authority, to ensure compliance in service delivery standards against local objectives and priorities that also align with the new Ofsted inspection framework requirements.

- Review, evaluate and develop departmental audit tools and processes (QAF) then redraft to strengthen operational services to enable more timely detailed information available and ability to translate expected outcomes into operational practice.
- Review and evaluate existing performance management tools and processes against Ofsted expectations, consult and discuss with Heads of Service group priority actions across service areas.
- Review and redraft Quality Assurance Framework to meet Ofsted requirements and local priorities.
