Quality Assurance and Business Improvement Project Leader

Eingestellt von General Medical Council

Gesuchte Skills: Engineering, Support

Projektbeschreibung

Initial 9 month Fixed-Term Contract

Are you a talented project leader with a background in continuous improvement, change management and quality assurance?

If so, why not bring your extensive experience to the General Medical Council and make a difference to millions of people across the UK. As the regulator of the medical profession, our purpose is to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of the public by ensuring proper standards in the practice of medicine. A remit this important means we're passionate about delivering continuous improvement from the inside out.

As part of the Business Improvement team, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in our ongoing operational excellence programme and make a real contribution to patient safety. You'll build effective relationships to deliver a variety of projects across our teams. This could range from re-engineering a complete operational process through to mentoring a team to make their own changes. You will also carry out regular formal audits, produce data analysis and liaise across our organisation to discover improvement opportunities.

Don't let the word 'medical' fool you. You don't need a healthcare background. The important thing is that you have the project management and continuous improvement expertise to identify and deliver sustainable projects and their benefits. You may well be PRINCE or Lean/Six Sigma qualified or simply experienced enough to use and teach Lean/Six sigma tools and methods. Along with this you will need impeccable presentation, process mapping, analytical and written skills to deliver key information and engage people at all levels.

We believe in investing in our people too, so you can be sure of all the support you need to develop your talents and achieve your full potential. What's more, you can also look forward to a generous benefits package.

Closing date: 18 November 2014
