Working as a Nursery Practitioner on a supply basis can often lead to long term or even permanent employment, creating the unique opportunity to tailor your work and availability to suit you.

This role is suitable for candidates who are already qualified and have gained a minimum of six months continuous experience within a nursery setting.

Successful candidates will:

Hold a recognised Nursery or EYFS qualification e.g. Level 3 Childcare, NEEB, EYP, Early Years degree

Have a minimum of six months experience working within a Nursery setting with an awareness of the shift requirements and possible working hours (standard day can be an 8-6 shift)

Have extensive knowledge of Child Development and the EYFS Framework

Be able to effectively develop the confidence, language, behaviour and social skills of infants and young children

Be able to adapt with ease to new environments

Have an outstanding awareness of safeguarding, equality and diversity

Be reliable and able to commute to nursery settings in and around your area
