QTP Tester

QTP TESTER - 3 MONTHS - NEGOTIABLE - TOULOUSE

Our Airline client has put in an urgent requirement for a QTP Tester to assist the Methods team to support the automated testing.

The candidate must have a proven ability of successfully performing testing responsibilities on a mix of small/medium/large projects requiring testing support with 5+ years of experience. The project is looking to last at least 2 years so offers the successful candidate longevity.

THE TESTING RESPONSIBLE INCLUDE TASKS SUCH AS:

- Analyze system changes to determine testing impacts;
- Create and maintain test plans;
- Communicate changes to various internal and external groups;
- Script automated test cases using VBScript;
- Execute test cases;
- Triage test defects.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5 years automated software testing experience
- Proficient with HP QC/QTP
- Visual Basic
- MUST SPEAK FLUENT FRENCH AND ENGLISH
- Solid understanding of testing life cycle and methodologies,
- Demonstrate a proven track record of testing support that includes planning, executing, and reporting
- Strong analysis skills for problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new business systems and detailed business processes
- General knowledge of project management and be able to build and manage project plans
- Self-motivated, work independently, and yet function as an integral part of a team
