QHSE Manager

Progressive Global Energy are seeking an experienced HSEQ manager for one of the world's largest and most innovative supplier of large, modern offshore support vessels. They have operations in practically every major oil and gas hub globally and a fleet of 60 vessels with more currently under construction.

This position will see the successful candidate report directly to the General Manager with reporting lines to the Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer

* The management and improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Coordinate IMS and safety training onboard the company's vessels.
* Update laws and regulations within HSEQ&S matters onboard the company's vessels.
* Plan and organise the Company's work in relation to HSEQ&S issues.
* Plan and organise the Company's work in relation to internal and external audits.
* In charge of enquiries involving personal injuries and the management of incident investigation.
* Designated Person Ashore (DPA) for the company's vessels in accordance with the ISM code.
* Keep up-to-date with national, international and special requirements from charterers in relation to HSEQ&S issues.
* Ensuring co-operation from both vessel and the company's management and land based operation management when it comes to preparing, introducing and maintaining safety procedures and safety routines for each vessel.
* Co-ordinating the Company's Emergency preparedness and Emergency Response room equipment.
* Technical authority for the company's Operations and Quality Manual
* Co-ordinating insurance claims within the company's fleet
* Working with other departments in connection with the co-ordination of general operating procedures
* Company Security Officer (CSO) for Farstad Shipping Ltd vessels in accordance with the ISPS code

ISM Maritime Auditor / Lead Auditor

ISO 14001:2004 Foundation Training

ISO 14001:2004 Internal Auditor

OHSAS 18001:2007 Foundation Training
