QHSE Advisor (Auditor) - Houston, TX

A general contractor specializing in engineering, procurement, construction and installation of floating production systems & other new technologies is looking for an QHSE Advisor (Auditor) to join the team in Houston, TX! Some of the systems they focus on are Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessels, Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs) , Production Semi-Submersibles, Floating LNGs (FLNGs)!

Job Description:

* Promotes a proactive HSE culture including inherently safer design concepts on assigned projects.
* Develops and implements HSE programs for facility design and construction consistent with the HSE Management System.
* Supports and advises projects with compliance of HSE procedures and practices for facility design, construction, and project HSE execution as well as meeting client requirements
* Implements project stage reviews to ensure that the HSE design meet or exceed performance requirements of company, the project, the client, as well as governing regulatory requirements.
* Coordinates formal safety assessments including HAZIDs, HAZOPs, QRA, and the case for safety.
* Provides HSE proposal support
* Assures reporting, investigation, mitigation and appropriate communication of project HSE incidents are undertaken in a timely and appropriate manner. Assist project management in incident investigation and reports, as required.
* Implements construction/fab yard reviews to ensure that the HSE programs and performance meet or exceed requirements of company, the project, and the client.
*Provides training to ensure that HSE risks are identified and managed in accordance with Company policies, standards and processes; industry best practices and standards; and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualification Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree
* 5-7 years of experience in the development, and implementation of HSE programs involving engineering and construction of upstream/offshore oil & gas projects.
* ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISM, OHSAS 18001.
* Able to travel up to 40% of the time to other facilities, including international travel with exposure to fabrication and shipyard conditions
