QC Lab Technician Job

QC LAB TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Lincoln, NE.

- Laboratory experience
- Quality control

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Demonstrate a general understanding and ability to follow cGMP's, safety requirements, DEA and FDA regulations contributing to company compliance (eg inspecting, sampling).
- Utilize basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills to perform a variety of functions (eg test and check packaging supplies, clean and restock lab glassware, order and stock lab supplies, clerical functions).
- Utilize LIMS, BPCS, and other computer software (eg retrievals).
- Document work accurately, precisely, and completely in an organized fashion.
- Ability to operate equipment (eg laboratory equipment, computer, calculator).
- Follow established procedures and Team Competencies.
- Demonstrate business focus and results orientation. Prioritizes assignments and follows schedules to meet deadlines.
- Work with guidance to determine and pursue courses of action to obtain desired department and company objectives.
- Participate in investigations.
- Must be able to discern colors to differentiate between a variety of formulations and/or finished product.
- Promote a strong safety culture by modelling safe behaviors and holding self and others ac-countable for working safely.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS or BA degree in Chemistry/Biology or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year laboratory experience, applicants without a degree or equivalent qualification would have to have in excess of 5 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in a QC laboratory environment.
- Must have a good attention to detail and be highly organized

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completed college courses in organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology highly desirable.
