QA Test Analyst

Min 2 years QA experience, Automated and manual test, ability in all phases of the QA cycle; Solid understanding of SDLC.  NUnit, Selenium preferred

This is a CONTRACT engagement (C2C, W2)

Our client's project is scheduled to begin immediately and run for approximately 6 to 12 months with possible extension beyond that.

STRONG preference will be given to North East Ohio residents.

IN-PERSON INTERVIEW WILL BE REQUIRED.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The QA Tester position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional experience testing both web and desktop applications built with Microsoft tools. Candidates must have a good understanding of the software development life cycle and the role QA plays in it. Working knowledge of unit, application, integration, and user acceptance testing is essential, as is an understanding of QA methodologies. The QA Tester is responsible for creating and executing test plans, evaluating test coverage, cataloging and tracking defects, functional decomposition, functional testing, and regression tests.

Ideal candidates will also have experience with automated testing tools (NUnit, Selenium), test script development, load testing, stress testing, test optimization techniques, system architecture or Microsoft software development.

Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, willingness to research/learn and superior work habits.
