QA Project/Process Quality Manager

Harvey Nash is looking for a QA Project/Process Quality Manager for a 2 + month project in Switzerland. The position has a 100% workload and it might come an extension

The role is for a candidate who has deep knowledge in Quality Manual and IGM Manual/SOPS.

You are responsible for
- driving and coordinating implementation of the IT processes to ensure adherence
- managing the results of the quality assurance and testing teams
- objectively evaluating processes, work products, and services against applicable process descriptions, standards, and procedures
- identifying and documenting noncompliance issues
- Providing feedback to project staff on the results of quality assurance activities
- Ensuring that noncompliance issues are addressed
- QA/Testing portion of project deliverables (ie test plans, testing solutions, results, budgets, schedules, and quality)
- Determining new methods and developing new procedures for accomplishing work
- Creating a climate of collaboration and teamwork among team members and customer groups
- Interfacing with all levels of management to negotiate project priorities and outcomes
- Determining process and priorities based on the requirements of a situation
- Negotiating to resolve customer issues by seeking win-win solutions that add value to the customer
- Developing unique strategies to promote the effectiveness of the group.
- Identifying opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation
- Taking initiative to work on challenging or stretch work assignments

Requirements

- experience with implementation of Quality Systems
- Experience with IT Structured Software Testing, Testing Specialized, TestDirector, and WinRunner
- Ability to supervise staff and make personnel decisions
- Ability to articulate the company's business requirements and objectives regarding quality
- Ability to manage quality assurance and testing projects, schedules, tasks, and deliverables
- Ability to effectively communicate quality issues and recommendations to improve quality to senior level IT management
- Knowledge of quality assurance and testing processes and tools and industry standards on quality models
