QA Engineer - Operations Support

Progressive Global Energy are seeking a talented and experienced QA Engineer for a large international Oil and Gas service company. The role will be to provide Quality support for Plants manufacturing/remanufacturing activities. RESPONSIBILITIES * In conjunction with Technical Support, allocate/develop Quality Plans and Special Processes * Advise Quality matters during Business Groups contract review phase * Represent Quality group at project kick-off meetings * Liaise with Sister Plants on Quality matters relating to work scope support * Liaise with Sister Plants on Product Certification matters * Manage Quality matters; pre work pack issue to shop * Project/Contract Quality support during execution of work * Liaise with Third Party Inspectors; Customer and Certifying Authorities in relation to work scopes * Liaise with Customer Quality Representatives * Ensure certification complies with BoM and contract requirements * Review work packs for completeness prior to documentation package compilation. QUALIFICATIONS - QA/QC Manual - Engineering manual - BG manual (Contract Review) Core - Product * Awareness of function, capabilities and application * Conversant with Company manufacturing processes * Conversant with Engineering process/system * Conversant with legislative requirements related to product * Ability to interpret company; bills of material, product quality plans and engineering drawings. - Quality Management System * Conversant with ISO 9000, 14000 an OHSAS 18001 standards * Internal quality auditing This is a full time position based in Aberdeen.
