QA Engineer, Dublin Contract

QA Engineer, 6 months Dublin

One of our major IT clients is looking for the QA Engineer to join their team in Dublin city centre for 6 months contract.

The role will focus mainly on Back End with some Front End (GUI) testing with an emphasis on UI test automation.

Rate: 250 - 300 Euros

Skills required:
*QA experience in a commercial software development environment
*Possesses working knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating system and Java framework
*Solid experience and understanding of Web Services (eg XML, WSDL, SOAP, REST, etc.)
*Experience with performing moderately difficult Database SQL queries
*Manual UI testing experience with Web applications
*Experience with Apache/Tomcat applications
*Experience with various browser tools (eg HTTPWatch, HTTPFox, Charles, Tamper, etc)
*Solid experience with automation tools (eg Selenium, JMeter etc.)
*A Working knowledge of a Scripting language (preferably Unix/Linux Shell script)
*Solid experience with using open source Test Case Management tools (TestLink, etc.)
*Significant experience in working on multiple projects in parallel, dealing with a high profile and rapid turnaround pace, and being able to interpret company priorities into personal priorities are a must
*Solid experience with Agile methodology
*Solid experience with Issue tracking systems (eg Bugzilla, Jira etc.)
*Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
