QUALITY AUTOMATION TESTER - BRUSSELS
We are currently looking for a Quality Automation Tester for one of the European Institutions based in Brussels.
TASKS:
- Working closely with Business Analysts and business users to review, challenge and understand business requirements.
- Liaising with internal IT Technical teams and external third party software suppliers to understand technical solutions being delivered.
- Liaising daily with IT Project Managers, DBAs and Technical Architecture teams regarding implementation of new builds and issue fixes for testing.
- Reporting progress accurately to Test Manager and IT Project Managers.
- Identifying data and environment requirements for testing.
- Writing and executing test scenarios, based on the available documentation.
- Raising defects and performing retests of defect fixes where required.
- Documenting Test Results.
SKILLS:
Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in IT.
Min of 9 years' experience as a Tester
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, experience in working in agile teams
Knowledge of testing best practices
Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium or Protractor, experience in Scripting automated tests
Familiar with Atlassian tools and plug-ins
Ability to apply high quality standards
Proactive, motivated, pragmatic and diplomatic behavior is required.
Fluency in both French and English
Business analysis tools (eg Aris), modelling tools (eg UML) or project methodologies (eg RUP)
