QA and Safety Physician

For one of our clients working in the pharmaceutical industry, we are currently looking for a QA and Safety Physician

Start of the mission: April 2013
Lenghts: 6 months +
Location: South of Brussels

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Physician to manage interactions between safety and quality assurance in manufacturing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform Safety analyses related to quality in manufacturing
- Be the medical representative of the Safety department in Quality Assurance and Global Industrialization operations (eg be directly involved in decisional and preparatory meetings, give internal or external public presentation).
- Learn and apply safety signal management techniques
- Other activities related to vaccine safety research and Pharmacovigilance in general, for example:
-Case confirmations
- Literature reviews
- Answering requests from regulatory agencies
- Interacting with the Toxicology group

PREREQUISITES:

Education: Diploma in Medicine (accredited in the European Union)

Knowledge:

- Strong willingness to learn novel applications and methods.
- Experience with data management and quantitative analyses is an advantage.
- Experience in Research is an advantage
- Pharmacovigilance or regulatory affairs experience is an advantage but not a must.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality assurance or toxicology is an advantage.
- Willingness to make internal or external public presentations.
