Python Developer (Python/C#) - London - Contract - Banking

Python Developer (Python/C#) urgently required by a Tier One bank for a contract role in London.

Working within Treasury, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly accomplished technical to enhance their skill set in numerous Microsoft technologies.

This person will sit within a global development team to design, code and test software.

As well as this, the successful candidate will work with business users to solves business related issues, and will expected to write design specifications and business requirements.

For this role, all candidates must be highly experienced in software development and must have demonstrated this within an Investment Banking domain.

Technically, candidates must be highly proficient in C#, Python, .NET, WPF and GUI programming.

Candidates must be from a Database background, in particular in DB2 and Oracle.

The successful candidate will have strong products knowledge of capital and money market products such as Repo, and exposure to BI tools such as Spotfire or Tableau is desirable.

Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be comfortable with working independently and be confident in communicating with senior stakeholders within the bank
