Python Developer

I am hiring for an urgent Python Development requirement. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Multinational IT group, on a daily rate contract basis. You will be working on cutting edge research and development projects. You will have strong Python programming, and experience in software testing and integrating existing technologies to future services. Advantageous will be test driven development and experience with cloud (eg OpenStack, OpenNebula) and virtualization technologies (eg KVM, Xen). In an ideal world, you may have good knowledge of PaaS solutions.

SKILLS:

- Knowledge of Operating systems (eg Linux, Unix)
- Networking and network protocols (eg UDP, SSH, HTTP, SSH, TCP/IP)
- Virtualization/containerization (eg VirtualBox, KVM)
- Systems/Scripting programming languages (eg C, Python, Bash)
- Software development (eg Agile methodology, test driven development)

Advantageous:

- IaaS knowledge (eg OpenStack, OpenNebula)
- PaaS knowledge (eg Google App Engine, Herokue, OpenShift or Cloud Foundry)
