Purchasing Manager - UK Leading Manufacturer

Huxley Associates is proud to be working with a leadingUKmanufacturer looking for a new Purchasing Manager to join their team in theEast Lothianarea. This is a company who are going from strength to strength and really believe in purchasing being a vital and important aspect of their business. Reporting directly to the Works Manager (the most senior person on site) you will lead a team of 2 and be responsible for all aspects of purchasing for the business. This role has come about as the previous incumbent had worked in the company for 17 years and has been offered a further internal promotion which shows the career potential with this company. We are looking for proven Purchasing Managers ideally from a heavy engineering/ manufacturing or similar industry but all backgrounds will be considered. You should be CIPS qualified or at least working towards it. Most importantly you will need to show that you are passionate about what you do and really wanting to make a difference within a business. On offer for the role is a starting salary of circa £40,000 which is flexible dependant on the successful candidates skills and experience along with a generous benefits package.
