Skills and experience:
-Expert in Puppet Enterprise and related tools (provisioning, configuration management, )
-Proved experience in puppet encoding, testing, best practices at enterprise level
-Proved experience in puppet rollout and management at enterprise level (infrastructure as code) about different environments (development, test, acceptation, production)
-Proven experience in change of existing heterogeneous (*nix, windows) IT application landscape (> 250 nodes) by an ecosystem based on puppet.
-Experience with use of puppet, mcollective for release management, software deployment of home developed application
-By preference the candidate should already have followed puppet lab trainings (puppet practitioner or puppet architect) or equivalent by experience.
-Notions of continuous delivery pipelines (Jenkins)
-Expert in Linux OS (SLES 11 by preference), RHEL
-By preference knowledge of Git, Elastic search/logstash/kibana, Icinga/Graphite, Apache, tomcat
-Knowledge of VMWare
Description of work:
-Encoding/automatisation of existing infrastructure
-Elaboration of Solutions based on puppet ecosystem in replacement of Legacy tool for provisioning, configuration management, release management
-Encoding/automatisation for deployment of new software packages and also for evolution of software packages
-Involvement in the management of puppet ecosystem and correction of the management of the puppet ecosystem
-Coaching of junior colleagues
-Writing of necessary documentation
-Team player with strong communication skills, stress resistant
-Has to work in close collaboration with DevOps architect, infrastructure architect, operations & development teams
-Training of stakeholders in the new way of workting (development and operations)
