Projektbeschreibung

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify ERP prospects based on desired government market segmentation and territory
Proactively build relationships with new prospects ahead of an RFP
Lead the sales process for new prospects
Understand Government ERP competitors (strengths, weaknesses, pricing, etc.)
Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and other related Microsoft products, and be able to assess the fit of the product to the prospect's needs
Work cooperatively and proactively with the sales team from Microsoft and other 3rd party product providers
Be able to develop justifications, ROI, and other business case recommendations for ERP solutions
Actively participate in key aspects of the proposal process
o Describe the business value of the solution and fit to market segment
o Assist with completing the detailed requirements Matrix
o Determine software licensing and pricing (working collaboratively with Microsoft and 3rd party product providers)
o Determine maintenance and support
o Assist with other areas of the proposal, as needed
Guide demonstration preparation with pre-sales representative
Assist with the transfer of prospect knowledge to leadership during the sales process and the project team once the work has been sold
Potential travel

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
3 to 5 years of experience selling ERP solutions into the public sector
Experience selling enterprise software products/solutions and professional services
Experience assisting with the development of proposals for public sector prospects
Strong familiarity with governmental financial and operational processes, including:
o General Ledger, Financial Reporting
o Budgeting
o Procurement
o Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank Management
o Projects and Grants
o Accounts Receivable
o Fixed Assets
Some familiarity with the following governmental processes:
o HR/Payroll
o Treasury Management
o Utility Billing
o Maintenance/Work Order Management
