CONTRACT MANAGER

To ensure that Temporary Labour contracts are managed effectively to deliver high levels of performance and customer satisfaction whilst minimising costs.

The Contract Manager will ensure that the suppliers systems are appropriate and robust and are being operated correctly so that the data being provided by the suppliers can be relied on. To hold and chair regular contract meetings with a variety of stakeholders providing updates and monitoring information where necessary

Analyse and interpret contract monitoring data, using knowledge and professional judgement to identify exceptions and trends in the data which might result in change in risk or cost for the council.

Degree Level education or equivalent level of experience

Solid experience of Contract Management, ideally recruitment contract management

Excellent understanding of the principles of partnering contracts

Excellent understanding of performance management and improvement

Excellent understanding and experience of process mapping, process improvement & contract administration

Good awareness of policies and procedures to ensure resources are efficiently used

Experience of maintaining strong senior stakeholder relationships

Evidence of strong analytical, negotiating and influencing skills particular within stakeholder relationships

Ability to challenge requests and handle complex issues and reach resolutions quickly Ability to work flexibly Forward thinking, positive and action orientated
