Public Health Information Manager

PUBLIC HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGER - 10/12 MONTH CONTRACT - £NEG PER/DAY - HERTFORDSHIRE

My client is currently looking to recruit a Public Health Information Manager on a long term contract basis to cover maternity leave. The contract will look at start in the first week of June as a hand over period with the current manager is necessary.

The role will require promoting work between Commissioning and Public Health Directorates; as well as between the NHS and the local County Council, particularly in terms of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and so strong communication and leadership skills are key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan, Manage and deliver information requirements in relation to public health.
2. Developer partnership arrangements with other local bodies particularly in terms of JSNA.
3. Working with the Head of information and other members of the senior team to ensure that robust corporate governance arrangements are in place.
4. Provide leadership and management and strong communication.
5. Relevant work in the NHS is essential.
