I have 3 excellent opportunities for GMC UKPHR registered Public Health Consultants based in London. As Public Health Consultant you will be responsible for leading and providing public health specialist support to the CCG and lead the delivery of high quality analytical support within the area working with the central policy, intelligence, adults and children's commissioning, and regeneration teams and external partners

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

*Leading, on behalf of the Director of Public Health, statutory public health advice to the CCG as set out in the local Memorandum of Understanding. This will involve providing expert public health advice and leadership to support and inform an evidence-based approach within ethical frameworks for commissioning.
*Provide public health an overview of the external focus of the team including developing strong relationship with universities, acute and community hospital services and academic partnerships
*Ensuring high quality public health support to community hubs, with particular responsibility for two community hub areas: influencing to ensure hub activity improves and protects health, supporting the community hub team, and directly engaging and developing the community to improve and protect health.
*Facilitating production, interpretation and communication of complex public health information to inform commissioning and service development including the production of the JSNA.
*Managing a team of staff. The consultant will directly manage the Public Health Intelligence Analyst(s) and provide day to day support to the Community Public Health Manager(s)
*Providing professional leadership to public health staff and technical support in public health activities - ensuring high quality in public health analysis, advice and activities.
*Working flexibly to deliver council priorities requiring specialist public health input as required.
