Prototyping Architect - 3-6 Month Contract - Cambridge

Our client is now looking for a Prototyping Architect to join their team immediately on a 3 month contract. The successful candidate will have experience working with General Systems Administration, primarily Linux with some Windows and Virtulalization; Streaming Media Technologies, in particular HTTP adaptive streaming; Web Technology e.g. HTTp, web servers, web proxy, web apps and DNS; Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight and HTML5; Networking Technologies e.g. Multicast, TCP/IP, Ethernet and IP routing; Video formats, codecs and encoding; Benchmarking and test automation; Some software development skills, e.g C++, Python and scripting languages; Broadband Technologies e.g. xDSL, FTTx and triple-play.
