Prototype Coordinator - Support for Development/Manufacture

PROTOTYPE COORDINATOR - SUPPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT/DELIVERY/MANUFACTURE

Our client, a leading automotive company are looking for someone to join their freelance/contract team for a long-term contract position in the south west of Germany. Your role will be to coordinate prototype production processes and all appropriate client presentation activities relating to client acceptance and production.

TASKS

* Coordinate all prototypes, development patterns and presentation patterns for our customers
* Responsibility for timely availability and delivery of the respective samples
* Securing the agreed functionality in the respective patterns
* Supervision of the construction of prototypes, possibly on site
* Coordination and delivery of the related documents, measurement report, prototype description, test report, delivery note, etc.
* Collaboration with development, prototype construction and pre-series construction for the timely creation of patterns and adoption of changes
* Support in parts/tool/material procurement
* Support for rework, repair and software updates for already delivered samples
* Documentation and maintenance of the Prototype Tracking List to support the traceability of sample deliveries

REQUIREMENTS

* English speaker
* A Technical training, studying with mechanical/HW/SW orientation
* Good technical understanding, good knowledge in the handling of production and measuring systems
* Good communication and organizational skills
* Good English language skills
* Active support, solution-oriented, flexible
* Critical and customer-oriented attitude towards product quality, deadline and customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction
* Manufacturing experience advantage
