SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Liaising with Customers in the business in a proactive and challenging manner
- Retail platform/Wrap Platform experience needed
- Strong proposition analysis skills with at least five years experience of working in a retail platform or distribution environment
- Business analysis experienced linked with your previous proposition development roles
- Commercial awareness, ability to support the commercial aspirations of the business
- Strong understanding external market technology solutions for business problems in the Business Unit
- Attention to detail and be able to work effectively during pressure periods
- Good communication skills, with proven ability of working with all levels of personnel, including influencing and negotiating, and active participation and contribution with senior management
- Understanding business process/systems/marketing/legal requirements and communicating these to colleagues

PURPOSE OF ROLE

- Engaging with Users to understand, develop, extend and clearly define their business problems, business requirements and when required representing these in Concepts
- Apply the platform's service principles to the proposition to determine the service proposition for the target market(s) by channel
- Working with the sponsors to challenge and gain supporting evidence for the commercial assumptions made in drawing up the business case
- Identifying and evaluating process options to address business problems
- To assist in the process of making final recommendations to solve business problems and updating documentation accordingly
- Assisting the Stakeholder/Programme Manager/Senior User in compiling the Business Case for the recommended solution(s) and documenting, validating and challenging appropriately the assumptions made in the case

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Work with business & systems stakeholders to agree scope, requirements and content of projects and develop the standard Business requirements documentation for that stage in the initiative
- Manage (and measure) all project requirements through the project life cycle
- Develop your business analysis skills in conjunction with the projects you are working on
- Contribute to the smart use of human resources from the expertise pools available
- Communicate on-going progress acting as the prime conduit between the Project Manager(s) and the business teams
- Liaise with business analysts & project resources in other office locations
- Liaise with 3rd party service providers during the initial stages of a project
- Maintain strong working relationships with key internal groups, including: The Front Office, Customer Services, Technology. Finance, Oversight and the Project Teams
