Proposal Development

JOB DESCRIPTION
The proposal development position will be responsible for generating service quotes to the sales team based on customer needs. Pricing and service statements of work will be created based on scoping of the request across the services team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Work with Sales to evaluation of cost and market conditions to price service
- Scope and quote development for professional services and system integration
- Create P&L for cost/revenue/margin analysis
- Create SOW for sales/customer delivery outlining the details of the service provided
- Manage relationship with deployment team, engineering and project management to determine standard cost structure to support various service offerings
- Pre-Sales support to drive service sales including sales and customer presentations, trade show support, new service marketing support, proposal creation and support

SKILLS:

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong organizational and program management skills
- Ability to work with a team of resources across many departments
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills, both verbal & written
- Ability to develop price and costing models based from service templates and methods
- Spreadsheet skills to perform costing and pricing using a modelling template
- Ability to work with multi-functional teams such as product management, technical support, services engineering, legal, sales, marketing communications, and customer program management to develop the scope of work and deployment schedule
- Self motivated
- Interaction with sales and customers to further define the request and clarify the scope being delivered and setting proper customer expectations.
- Support the team with unplanned activities as they arise to support the scoping and quoting of services across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree
- They should have 3-6 years of experience and have strong excel and communications skills.
