PROMOTIONS PLANNING EXECUTIVE - CHESHUNT - 6 MONTHS ROLLING CONTRACT - £150 PER DAY

Supply Chain is known in our organisation as Store Ordering and this role presents a great opportunity to join the UK Store Ordering team.

Our projects focus on delivering major improvements to our company's supply chain by improving operations, systems and processes. A successful candidate will be joining a highly analytical team that combines a unique set of skills and experiences from Retail, Consulting and top Academic Institutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Promotions Planning Executive

Working with different teams you will be responsible for obtaining, formatting and loading plans which will determine the forecasts and set-up for all promotions launching in our stores. We are looking for a candidate who has both drive and attention to detail to help deliver a key project to change how our multi-national organisation operates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Work with other Store Ordering teams and Commercial Buying to ensure plans are loaded on Tesco systems in a timely way.
- Use relationships to help influence the Commercial teams to meet the forecasting critical paths.
- Assist with ongoing development and improvement of the automated Promotions system through root-cause investigations into forecast promotion volumes.
- Analysis of promotional cycles to identify issues or review/measure benefits of new features to Supply Chain teams

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- A strong academic record and a good University degree.
- Knowledge of retail store stock control operations or experience within a Supply Chain environment would be an advantage although not essential.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Great attention to detail is essential.
- A good working knowledge of Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
