IHRE AUFGABEN:

Component ownership for switch gears, surge arrestors, power cables, protection relays, measuring equipment and transformers over the whole product life cycle from idea generation, sizing, selection, new product development, operation, and introduction to phase-out. Lead and drive the development of components to fulfill local and global grid code requirements: -Create component specifications for procurement,
-Perform reviews with component suppliers,
-Validate and approve components in laboratory, test bench and pilot installation.
-Technical lead in first piece qualification of dedicated components.
-Execute projects by utilizing design for six-sigma & design for reliability principles.
-Facilitate root cause analysis by investigating and evaluating component issues. Accompany

reliability engineers and sourcing quality engineers. -Provide input for continuous product improvement and cost reduction.
-Assist requisition engineering to fulfill customer requirements on grid connection.
-Apply engineering design guidelines, design practices, and legal instructions based on

regulations, codes & standards to ensure efficient engineering and worldwide product compliance. -Write technical documents and present results and project progress in reviews and meetings.
-Effectively communicate with the suppliers, local teams, and global stakeholders

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

Extended knowledge of power grid design and related components (switch gears, surge arrestors, power cables, protection relays, measuring equipment, transformers, and generators). -Experience in power grid component qualification and test techniques.
-System level understanding of generating sets and the various accessories / sub-systems
-which form the generating set package.
-Excellent communication skills in English.
-Working knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO, IEC, EN, UL, NEMA).
