Project Technical Specialist

JOB PURPOSE:

- The incumbent will implement technology strategies and innovative solutions as defined by the Sales Performance Manager in support of dealer coverage studies.

JOB DUTIES:

- This position interacts with coverage consultants personnel and internal teams to provide technical support services to facilitate and develop comprehensive project schedules and high-level reports.
- To support project management initiatives, incumbent drives efficiencies on processes already in use (eg automation) under the direction of the supervisor.
- Provides communication and governance of standards, policies and procedures to dealers and team members.
- Manages and maintain templates and database structure.
- Manages communication plan & project management to track progress on studies being carried out by the coverage team.

SKILLS:

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

- A four year college or university degree (prefers marketing or business degree) and 6-8 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
- Broad background knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques are required.
- Good working knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project, as well as expert skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Incumbent should have excellent communication skills and good interpersonal, ability to work well in a team environment, and an attention to detail.
- Experience in programming, Oracle database administration and/or complex report development is a plus.
- This position requires a familiarity with computers and the standard suite of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the project management software and operating platform.
