Project Scheduler (APS 6)

Our high profile client is about to implement a new project and is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join their busy team. The initial contract is open for 6 months and will most likely extend to 18 months.

The primary objective of this role is to plan, schedule, monitor and report milestones, dependencies and deliverables within and across projects and work streams.

The Project Scheduler will:

- Develop and Maintain the Project Schedule, including establishing critical path and project duration.
- Develop project control reports and provide to agreed frequency (Progress report, resource projections etc)
- Identify resource vulnerable areas Monitoring schedule compliance and reporting to the project team regarding deviation from approved project schedule.
- Develop variance/schedule performance indices for Steering Committee approval and schedule risk analysis, and recommending corrective action when required.
- Assist with setting up tasks to ensure the project requirements are scheduled, including follow up reports for contract coordination.
- Assist the Manager PMO.

We are seeking a motivated solutions focused candidate with similar experience in Defence or equivalent Public Sector Project environments. You will have strong MS Project, coordination and interpersonal skills.
