Project - Program Manager

The project and Programme Manager will assist with the creation and management of an overall programme of work for the EDW.

This programme will include:

- the gathering of both infrastructure, applications and data collection take-on projects;
- determining resource requirements and timeframes required to complete the work;
- determining and documenting dependencies between the project pieces;
- assisting to prioritise the work;and once the programme is agreed by the Board,management and oversight of the execution of the projects according to the programme plan.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following activities;

- Undertake day-to-day programme management responsibilities including planning, monitoring and controlling schedule, budget,scope, quality,risks,issues and expected benefits;
- Ensure that projects in the programme deliver the capabilities required of them according to schedule, budget,scope and quality standards;
- Ensuring that the dependencies and the interfaces between projects are well defined and managed;
- Monitor the allocation of business and technical resources required to deliver the programme;

To be successful your skills and experience will focus on the following:

- Demonstrated ability to create and manage a large programmeo f work across multiple project teams,with a focus on delivering the business outcome
- Experience with or understanding of datawarehouse technology systems would be desirable.
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills in a programme management role and the ability to synthesise and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to senior management and a wide variety of audiences.
- Leading the business elements of complex ICT enabled projects or programmes.
