Project Planner- Construction/Property/Infrastructure Background

I am looking to hire for a PROJECT PLANNER with my Public Sector Client in ANDOVER, HAMPSHIRE location.

This is a Contract role for 9 months initially with possible extension.

SC CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

- Project/Programme plans level 4 to 0.
- Work with the team, external stakeholders and suppliers to achieve milestones.
- Manage Dependency Log and resourcing plan.
- Manage the day-to-day planning activity at level 0 to 4, on behalf of the Programme Manager.
- Work with the team, external stakeholders and suppliers to define and agree the approach and milestone dates.
- Regularly review tracking and reporting progress against all programme plan levels and critical milestones.
- Work with DIO Project and package Leads and external suppliers to identify and record dependencies and develop and propose delivery options.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Excel
- Construction Background
- Ex MOD with construction would be highly advantageous, Prince 2 or MSP qualification Construction/Property/Infrastructure experience Microsoft Project; qualified at Advanced level

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

- Good communication, working in a team of 6, experience with large budget projects, project planning experience.
